Police Training in America

America as a whole really needs to rethink the current strategies departments use in police training. I see video after video of situations that are escalated unnecessarily due to behavior of officers. Training is supposed to help you stay cool and calm under stress, not cause you to overreact.

I can think of no situation where one would empty their magazine at an unknown, unseen, imagined target. "If something startles you, don't think, just shoot at it with everything you have!" It is a miracle this guy was unharmed, physically anyway.
